Continuing Education
I attend Continuing Education Seminars in the areas of bankruptcy, litigation, and personal injury. I also keep up on recent changes in the law by reading recent court opinions.
Example Cases
An example is handling an injury claim that initially the insurance company disputed liability. I was able to successfully negotiate not only my client receiving compensation for her medical bills, but also additional compensation for pain and suffering.

Firm Focus and History
I opened my office in May of 2007, and have expanded three times in the last three years. We focus on personal attention to our clients, and personal dedication to their cases.
Previous Employment Summary
I worked as a law clerk prior to becoming an attorney. Prior to that, I interned for the State Public Defender's Office and also externed for a Minnesota Judge.
Activities and Awards
Rated as a preeminent attorney in client reviews by Martindale-Hubbell.
What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I think it is great when clients educate themselves on legal issues, however, my office works hard to also educate clients as to the legal issues in their cases, so that they can understand not only what the process is, but also how the facts and law will govern the outcome of their case.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
I generally do not review client-prepared documents. I do, however, make sure my clients are educated as to the legal process that my office represents them in.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
I generally do not coach clients who represent themselves. Again, I do, however, make sure my clients are educated as to the legal process that my office represents them in.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
To help people through their legal issues and make a positive difference. My office prides itself on helping our clients through their issues and sincerely trying to make the outcome make things better for our clients.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
Having a wide variety of life experiences has helped me to be a better lawyer. It has helped allow me to view things from a variety of views and use that to reach better outcomes with my client's legal issues.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I enjoy gaining compensation for those who have been injured. I also enjoy helping people who are having financial difficulties by helping them through that difficult time. I realize that both injuries and financial difficulties can be a stressful and confusing time, and I look forward to helping each client through that time of their life.
What do you like best about your career?
Helping clients through stressful legal issues and knowing that working hard for each client may make a positive difference in their life.

What are your strengths and style?
I am motivated to work hard for my clients and I dedicate myself to success with their case. I work hard, and my office works hard, to ensure that each client gets personal and individualized representation.
