I established this firm in July of 2009 and is one of the few firms in Erie and Huron County, Ohio that specialize solely in financial problems. I am a bankruptcy and consumer attorney of 32 years experience. The firm was built on the idea that clients would be best served by a law firm that is dedicated to personal service and excellent client communication.

I speak enough Spanish to get myself in trouble, but not enough to get out of trouble.
Solving people's financial problems through bankruptcy and other techniques is very satisfying. People come to my office in very difficult situations. When I get done representing them, they are happy to see how improved their lives are. That makes me feel good about going to work every day.
When a client has shown the initiative to educate themselves about their own case, it makes it much easier to talk about the case. So it saves time in discussion and helps us work together effectively.
I am willing to review documents prepared by clients, but clients have to understand that at some point a court may require an attorney that reviews documents to appear in court and explain the choices made in those documents.
We evaluate each case on its own merits and decide based on the complexity of the case and the client's abilities.
Previously, I was Managing Attorney of the Sandusky, Ohio office of UAW Legal Services Plan, a large, non-profit law firm, specializing in bankruptcy and consumer law.
32 years of legal experience has certainly improved the quality of my advice. Over the years, I have learned to listen well and also to communicate clearly with clients who do not want to hear legal jargon. Putting myself through college and law school as a truck driver gave me an appreciation of the value of hard work and clear communication.
Our office gives personal attention to every client. All of our staff listen carefully and we make ourselves available for questions as much as possible.
Personal interests:Skiing, motorcycles and justice.
