Firm History

My firm was established in the early 1990s. I've practiced over 30years. My primary interest at this time is to help the underserved. I keep my prices low for that reason; however I do not work for free.

Example Cases

Assault cases involving police officers. Client accused of resisting arrest and trying to grab Officer's gun. Client accused of beating and threatening spouse, client accused of fighting neighbor, client wrongfully identified in line-up as gunman. I have been successful in getting dismissals, reduced charges and not guilty verdicts.

Drug possession and/or sales cases: Drugs found in client's car, client accused of selling to friend or undercover cop, client a passenger in car containing drugs I have been successful in getting such cases dismissed, reduced or diverted.

Petty theft, Grand theft, Robbery, Burglary: client accused a shoplifting, client with someone who was passing bad checks or shoplifting, client accused of grabbing purse in parking lot and tracked by dog, client accused of wrongful overpayment on welfare. I have succeeded in getting these cases dismissed, diverted, reduced or verdicts of not-guilty.

Statutory Rape, Rape Child Molestation cases: client unknowingly had sex with a minor; client knowingly had sex with minor, minor accused client of rape of wrongful touching: I've succeeded in getting cases dismissed and reduced. In some instanced prevented the case from being filed.

DUI: I've gotten dismissals, reductions and prevented driver license suspension.

Expungements: Convicted of felonies or misdemeanors---get it dismissed after the completion of probation.
Convicted of Felonies--- get them reduced to misdemeanors and then dismissed.
Served State Prison time: Obtain a certificate of rehabilitation or a Pardon from the Governor.

Nurse cited by Board of Vocational Nursing for prior convictions of petty theft and use of illegal drugs: Appeared at hearing and drafted legal brief in support of nurse. Decision pending.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I encourage clients to educate themselves on legal issues regarding their case. I also encourage potential clients to retain me before charges are filed and when they are asked to go into the police office for questioning. That is crucial to preventing the case from being filed. I am willing to review documents prepared by clients and make suggestions for a nominal fee.

No pro bono services. I serve the community by offering lower fees. I believe that people don't appreciate free services.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I am a true advocate. I am more interested in helping the individual than in trying to get rich on fees. I truly love to help people who cannot help themselves.
