How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I chose immigration law because as the son of an immigrant I understand the need for devoted representation.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I find that my clients are best served when they have an understanding of basic immigration law and principles.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

One of the services I provide clients is document review. Document review can be an invaluable service for clients that do not need the full services of an immigration firm, yet desire input on their case.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Immigration Law is complicated and complex. It is best to have competent representation.

Pablo H. Nossa

Prior to opening the Nossa Law Office, I worked with the Law Office of Adib Eghterafi, where I worked in the area of Immigration and Nationality Law.

During my legal studies, I took advantage of the exemplary clinical education at UT Law. I worked with the Transnational Worker Rights Clinic representing low-income transnational migrant workers in cases to recover unpaid wages. I also worked with the Community Development Clinic where I represented nonprofit organizations and individuals involved in community development. I also clerked for the in-house counsel to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe where I worked on cases dealing with sovereign immunity, land and distribution rights. These experiences have taught me the importance of client centered lawyering.

My strengths include attention to detail, fervent desire to understand the law before giving advice and preparedness.

Personal interests:

In addition to Immigration and Naturalization Law, I am fascinated by Federal Indian Law and the complex intersects of state, federal and tribal power.
