Whether you have been charged with a misdemeanor or a felony, having an attorney at the beginning, just days after your arrest, can be extremely important. The longer you postpone hiring counsel, the greater the problem can become.

Misdemeanor Pleas: $1,000 - $1,250.
State Jail Felony Pleas: $1,500 - $2,000.
Felony Third and Second Degree Pleas: $2,000 - $3,000.

These are customary fees and do not include every contingency.

In criminal law, people's liberty and freedom are at stake. People charged with criminal offenses are particularly vulnerable to the system and need a capable advocate to ensure that their rights are protected.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Oftentimes people are given false and/or misleading information by well-intentioned others, and I try to explain to them in a language they understand what their options are so that they have realistic expectations.
