How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I enjoy helping individuals solve financial problems. The rules and regulations in bankruptcy, and the requirements of residential real estate, make sense to me after years in the finance industry.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I encourage clients to learn about legal issues. It helps them decide whether they need professional assistance, and what services to expect from an attorney.

I have not had occasion to review documents prepared by a client.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am not available to coach pro se litigants.

I have significant experience in the financial services industry and in government. I have even more experience in life, in general. I have experienced many of the personal challenges presented by my clients.

I enjoy assisting clients directly and handle nearly every client contact personally, employing assistance of an in-house paralegal for document preparation and marketing.

Personal interests:

I have traveled widely, especially in South America. I enjoy downhill skiing and swimming. I am learning to play golf.
