I offer my clients personal service and rapid responses to client inquiries at realistic fees. I have concentrated in the civil law arena specializing in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy, wills, trusts, estate planning, probate matters, income taxes, and civil matters for the past 20+ years.

NOTE: Please keep in mind that the Bankruptcy Court matters are confidential, but the court is really on your side. It is not a demeaning experience and you have only one appearance to make before the Trustee which usually lasts less than a minute of two. Bankruptcy will affect your credit score, but by this time much damage has already been done due to late or no payments on your credit cards or your other debts. I always tell clients in approximately six months the credit card applications will start arriving again. You do NOT WEAR A SCARLET LETTER around your neck forever after receiving your discharge.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Some time back, I was involved in a multimillion dollar bankruptcy case as a CPA for the Debtor. I saw firsthand how severe debt problems gave these persons a "FRESH START" and saved them from financial ruin which bankruptcy affords. In addition, revocable trusts, income taxes, probate and estate planning offered some real advantages to my clients who were able to solve a great many problems before they occur. In other words, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound...

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Clients who have taken the time to educate themselves concerning the problem at hand is always greatly appreciated. However, if the client is totally unaware of the various legal problems and consequences that might result from their actions, then competent legal advice and assistance may help alleviate much of the stress, time, expense and delay involved in the case.

I frequently coach persons concerning the legal problems they might have at no cost which oftentimes will relieve their anxiety and greatly reduce their stress levels.
