Assistant State Attorney 6th Circuit 1978 to 1986
Lead Trial Attorney, Division Director; Kimpton, Burke, & White 1988 to 1991
Private practice 1991 to present
I was raised in a small town, went away to college, and returned to attend law school in Florida. I have been in the military, played sports, been a prosecutor, been involved in disputes, been the leader of several organizations, worked summer jobs, and many other things that help me understand situations and deal with people and stressful situations.
My style may vary in trials depending on the facts and the personality of the opposing attorney, as well as the make up of the jury. I can talk with prosecutors on the cases and know them well. The fact that I have been a former division director in the prosecutor's office and know the system well helps me in dealing with them.Personal interests:
Water sports, exercise, and family time.
