To assist families. My approach to each case is a professional, hands-on, efficient and result-oriented manner. I listen, care, and understand the emotional distress that a family crisis brings. My role is to guide my client through the legal process, to let my client know what is happening and what to expect, and to take care of the case as it moves forward. I work to bring the best possible outcome for my clients.
The more education a client has on their situation, the greater the value to both the client and the attorney. The client is in control of their case and their life. He or she needs to be fully involved and educated on the process and what is occurring.
I am happy to review documents and provide direction and advice to clients.
I am happy to consult on cases and provide advice on the case and the situation. I am also open to starting a case in a coaching role and if the case later necessitates, becoming the attorney of record.
I worked in a mental health facility prior to attending law school. Upon passing the bar, I went into private practice and soon became a sole practitioner practicing in the Denver Metro Area including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson Counties.
I believe that focusing on the best interests of the children in a case is important and trying to resolve the matter as efficiently as possible. The process can be emotionally taxing and the proper representation can greatly ease the pressure of the situation. I have a background working in mental health which has provided me a greater understanding of individuals and the stress a difficult situation can bring.
I am compassionate and caring with a hands-on approach. I listen to my clients and care about their needs. I remember their original goals and remind them of these goals as the stress of a case can increase. I empower my clients with knowledge and I am an excellent communicator and listener. The emotional aspects of a family law matters create a delicate relationship which necessitates a compassionate understanding of all aspects of the case and my client's needs. I always try to resolve the case as efficiently as possible through mutual agreement and mediation. However, when that is not possible, I vehemently promote my client's interests through litigation to obtain the best possible results for their situation.
Personal interests:Spending time with my family, being outdoors, and traveling when I have time.
