How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I work in numerous areas that appeal to me so my work is never stale.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is very important, so that the client can make informed decisions. I assist in this effort by involving my clients in substantive legal analysis, employing storytelling techniques to explain complex legal concepts and routinely communicating with clients. Self Help Works.

I enjoy it and know it leads to the rendering of some of the best legal work.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I support broad self help efforts, except in the context of complex litigation in the courtroom. In such situations, I believe the client is better served by working with counsel that practices unbundled legal services.
