Joshua B. Farmer is a partner in the firm of Tomblin, Farmer & Morris, PLLC, which has offices in Rutherfordton, NC; Shelby, NC and Spartanburg, SC. He graduated summa cum laude from Wofford College in 2000 with a B.A. in Government and a B.S. in Business Economics and was awarded the Honor Graduate Award given for the highest grade point average. He then attended the University of North Carolina School of Law and served as a staff member on the North Carolina Law Review. He graduated from the law school in 2004 with high honors. He was admitted to the bar in North Carolina in 2004 and in South Carolina in 2005. Joshs current practice includes an emphasis on representing consumer and business debtors in proceedings under chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13. He is married to Andrea G. Farmer, a bankruptcy and disability attorney, and has one son, Thomas Bradley Farmer.
Andrea G. Farmer was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but has resided in Rutherford County since 1996. After attending Isothermal Community College for two years, Andrea transferred her studies to Wofford College, where she received a B.S. in Business Economics and a B.A. in Government in 2000. In 2001, she began attending law school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2004. She was then admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina that same year and in the state of South Carolina in 2005.
Andrea has practiced law in Rutherford County since August of 2004. Her practice focuses primarily on real estate transactions, bankruptcy, social security disability, estate administration and special proceedings. She is married to Joshua B. Farmer and has one son, Thomas Bradley Farmer.
Mark N. Morris was born in Encino, California in 1971. He lived in Northridge, California until 1990, when he moved to Rutherford County, North Carolina. In 2000 he graduated from Limestone College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. In 2004 he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar that same year.
After being admitted to practice, Mark joined the firm of Simpson, Kuehnert, Vinay, and Jones in Morganton, North Carolina with a concentration on general civil litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury. In 2006 he joined the firm of Tomblin, Farmer, and Morris where he primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, family law, general civil litigation, wrongful death, construction disputes, and criminal law. He is married to Holly Morris and has one daughter, Elizabeth Morris. Mark is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Rutherford County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
