I also worked as a tax attorney/manager for a large public accounting firm. In 2007, I joined a local law firm in Atlanta and served the public in the areas of family law, business law, tax law, real estate law, immigration law, civil matters, corporate law, tax-exempt entities, estate planning, bankruptcy law, tenant and landlord issues, personal injury, and criminal law. In 2008, I decided to open a law firm to provide affordable legal services to the public.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

A person needs to be well-informed to make the best educated decisions. A cost effective way is to obtain general legal knowledge from reading legal books and other legal resources. However, please note that these resources cannot be a substitute for a lawyer who can analyze the facts and circumstances and advise the person of relevant alternative legal options and resolutions.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We prepare our clients' documents for submission to the Bankruptcy Court, Georgia State Courts, Federal Courts, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and to Immigration Court.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I generally do not advise clients to represent themselves.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I enjoy meeting people and helping people. My philosophy is that the law is a tool to achieve the client's objective. An attorney can assist the client to formulate the objective and achieve that objective.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I have previously worked as a tax consultant and tax attorney in large public accounting firms and gained much knowledge about the mechanics of businesses. Moreover, the knowledge that I have gained has helped me to better understand the importance of finances to individuals and businesses. I immigrated to the United States when I was eight, and afterwards, I became a naturalized citizen. Over the years, I have helped many individuals obtain legal status in the United States and helped these individuals to pursue the American dream.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Over the years, I acquired knowledge in many areas of law to provide assistance to clients.

What do you like best about your career?

Working with clients to build lasting relationships.
