I chose my primary area of practice because of the synergy with previous work experience.

I encourage clients to speak with an attorney licensed to practice in their geography regarding legal issues as the law applicable to their particular facts/circumstances often varies by geography and time.

John Xavier Perez

Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for a decade in several Fortune 500 companies involved telecommunications and manufacturing in positions of increasing responsibilities and in overseas assignment in the areas of operations and finance, including but not limited to: Controller, Area Operations Manager, and Budget and Business Planning Manager.

I worked as a summer associate, and later as a full-time associate, in an Ohio law firm prior to opening Law Office of John Xavier Perez, LLC.

Having a decade of real world business experience and formal training in the areas of operations and finance allows me to quickly plug into the P&L and balance sheets of my business clients and minimize risks while maximizing cash flows.

Having the business experience of managing individuals and teams of individuals has helped me to better relate to my individual clients needs and expectations and guide them through the legal process efficiently where necessary.

I listen attentively to my clients and am creative in solving problems.

Personal interests:

I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family.
