JJ v. Charter Bus Company; This case involved a charter bus that crashed into the back of my client's car. The parties are anonymous because the settlement was confidential. The case settled for $2 million.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I believe the best way a client can educate themselves is to research the lawyers in their area and then call them for expert advice.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
It was always something I wanted to do since I was a little kid. I remember in third grade I had to do a "career report" and I wrote mine on being a lawyer. Since then I have never thought of doing anything else.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
During high school and college, I worked for a construction company in the summers. It was extremely hard work and very hot. Working in construction taught me that hard work was necessary to accomplish perfection.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I wanted to help people and not just push papers and file documents. Helping people after an accident allows me to get involved in someone's life when they are at their ultimate low. It is up to me to then rebuild and get them back to where they were before the crash. I enjoy the process.
What do you like best about your career?
I like helping people that really need help.
Tell us about your law firm:
I have 20 highly motivated employees at my firm. Everyone has their specific role and they are each outstanding at performing under pressure. I couldn't ask for a better team.
What are your strengths and style?
One of my favorite hobbies is kickboxing. I do it for fun. I am aggressive by nature and this has carried over into my professional life and allows me to obtain tremendous results for my clients. You can't be a pushover in this business.
