Example Cases

I represented a client injured in a rear end freeway collision after being hit by a construction company truck. The client had to have eight back surgeries. Complex medical and disability issues and proof were involved. The case settled for a seven figure settlement 30 days before trial.

Our firm also represented six persons that were implanted with a defective hip replacement product. Each client had to be re-operated on, some several times, to correct the problem. Complex medical issues and damages were involved. Settled. All cases for seven figure amounts.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Patients should educate themselves on legal issues. My website is designed to assist people in doing so by providing a large amount of free legal educational information.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am always willing to review documents prepared by clients.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am not willing to coach people who want to represent themselves due to my concern that my malpractice insurance may not cover such actions.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I like to help people. I enjoy working with clients and making them feel comfortable. I really like to help obtain a good result for them for their case and then keeping them as friends afterwards.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Before becoming a lawyer, I was a U.S. Marine officer and pilot. I was also an airline pilot before becoming a lawyer. I am used to dealing with difficult situations, staying calm and getting them resolved for people.

Helping people.
