The focus of our firm is to provide Bankruptcy relief to people in financial distress. We compassionately help clients to stop foreclosures, repossessions, lawsuits, and harassing creditor phone calls by filing Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy:

In one recent Chapter 13 case, I was able to help lighten the debt burden of a client by asking the court to eliminate their entire second mortgage, resulting in new lower monthly mortgage payment. In another case, I helped to reduce a client's car loan to the real current value of the seven year old car, by applying the special "cram down" rules available in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to all clients.

Services Offered For Fixed Fees?

I generally work for a fixed-price fee. Chapter 13 is $3,000 and Chapter 7 is $2,000. Chapter 11 fees vary according to case.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Bankruptcy is the opportunity to help the less fortunate and those in need of a fresh start in life. I couldn't imagine anything more gratifying than to help people during such a meaningful time.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I respect clients who have done their own homework. It prepares the client to ask intelligent questions and maximize the efficiency of their free Bankruptcy consultation with me.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am willing to review documents prepared by clients, and treat them with the respect they deserve. Provided the client respects my "stock in trade, which is my time" in doing so

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I cannot coach anyone to represent themselves due to liability and ethical reasons.

A broader life experience helps you understand other people better. I can't help people if I don't first listen to them and seek to understand them. Having studied communication for over two decades, I still find it amazing that I can help clients more effectively by listening then talking. I suppose that's why we have two ears and one mouth!

I've been described by others as personable and approachable. There is a great deficiency of accessibility between the modern lawyer and the client. I seek to correct this trend, one client at a time.

Personal interests:

In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar and other instruments; writing and recording music.
