I believe that these areas of law directly deal with people's personal lives and are the sources of much injustice in society. I also very much enjoy practicing in the areas finding the law and my client's problems both challenging and interesting.
It is highly important that client educate themselves about legal issues so that they make correct decisions about their case. I believe that it is crucial to spend the necessary time with clients so that they understand the system, the law and therefore can make smart decisions in their case.
I do help clients review documents if that is what they need from me.
If I believe it is appropriate and in the client's best interest, I will assist clients in representing themselves.
I had previously worked in a criminal defense firm and insurance defense firm. I had also interned with the Attorney General's Office Environmental Enforcement Criminal Division and interned with Magistrate Judge Joseph Reichmann of the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
Along with growing up in a family that arguments and respectful debates at family dinners, I graduated at the top of my law school class due to my love of the law. I honed my skills in writing being on the Whittier Law Review. I honed my skills arguing being on the Moot Court Honors Board. I learned the Courts from my internship with a federal magistrate judge and working in the Attorney General's Office. I began my work experience working for an experienced criminal defense who had me arguing in court right out of law school. Since that time, I have conducted hundreds of trial and honed my skills considerably.
I am personable and enjoy meeting clients. I am also very good in the courtroom due to my experience.
Personal interests:I enjoy participating in various charitable and volunteer programs.
