I believe all clients should maintain their education so that they can stay involved in the process, and therefore I will always encourage them to educate themselves.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because I believe that those who are truly innocent deserve to have aggressive legal defense to help protect their rights. No one deserves to be incarcerated for a crime they did not commit, and I hope to help them avoid this.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My previous work as a prosecutor as well as my experience on all levels of the legal system allows me to fully understand the process so that I can best defend my clients.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I chose criminal defense because I believe that justice is an ideal that should be continually pursued. I wanted to help protect the rights of my clients from getting violated by overzealous law enforcement and prosecutors.

What do you like best about your career?

I love being able to help protect the future of my clients and help clean their slate so that they can move forward as easily as possible into the next chapter of their life.
