Guided by my philosophy of serving clients with integrity and compassion, I founded my Broward County firm at the height of the foreclosure crisis. A large part of the firm's mission has been to help educate area homeowners about how to protect their homes from foreclosure. The client base quickly expanded.
During my more than 15-year career in advocacy and legal services, I have achieved national recognition in consumer law and foreclosure defense, and I have worked extensively in the field of public health.
Over 100 bankruptcy filings in 2009.

Bankruptcy and foreclosure are among the primary areas of need in Broward County at this time. Additional areas include traditional legal services such as contracts, wills and small business issues.
I believe that a well-informed client can navigate many aspects of our legal system. Each person possesses varying degrees of knowledge and skill.
I am willing to review documents prepared by clients, depending upon the nature of the document, aspect of the law and intended purpose.
My willingness to coach clients is based on their abilities. (See question #1)
Prior to establishing my own firm, I was a supervising attorney for a large Broward County non-profit law practice. Previously I founded Non-Profit Capacity Builders, Inc. (NPCB). I served for five years as NPCB President. I also held senior managerial positions with the State of Florida Department of Health and the National American Red Cross in Washington, D.C.
A timeline of snapshots from both my private and professional life depict varying examples that establish my expertise and progressive growth, all of which have contributed to my capability as a compassionate attorney.
