What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Many of our clients handle legal matters on their own, until they recognize a need for experienced help. Many clients understand their own limitations and look to use our services to save their time and to ensure it is done right.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am always willing to review documents prepared by my clients, and sometimes all they require are some changes or thoughts on how to finalize documents so that it provides for what they want to occur.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I do that on an ongoing basis with clients, especially business clients who want to use the magisterial process to collect debts.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I began my career as an engineer and enjoyed providing common sense solutions to customers. I decided that the best way to provide those solutions directly would be to become a lawyer.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I believe that my background in engineering helps me review problems and find solutions to those problems for my clients. Further, I enjoy being part of the Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Northeastern Pennsylvania communities and being able to help better my community by being a part of local community service organizations. That involvement provides a good diverse perspective that I am able to use every day to the benefit of my clients.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I enjoy working with business owners in coming up with practical solutions to help them meet their goals and requirements.

What do you like best about your career?

Working to help hardworking people get the results they want.

Tell us about your law firm:

We are a four attorney law firm and can provide personal service to our clients. I have a wonderful staff who complement each other and makes sure that our clients are provided the personal service they require.

What are your strengths and style?

I like to listen and then come up with a strategy that fits my client's needs and requirements. I believe that it is important to fit the strategy to the client's goals.

Personal Interests:

I am an avid golfer, swimmer and enjoy playing water polo when I have a chance.
