Firm Focus and History
Founded in March 2008, the firm focuses on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Consumer Bankruptcy and Personal Injury.
Previous Employment Summary
I began in the legal field as a paralegal, first working in consumer bankruptcy for both debtor and creditor firms, then as a litigation paralegal in insurance defense. I clerked for a federal judge and worked part-time in a plaintiff injury firm during law school. After obtaining my law degree, I worked for a small plaintiff firm in personal injury litigation, doing arbitrations, mediations, and trial practice. I opened my own firm in early 2008 doing personal injury and consumer bankruptcy work.
What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I encourage every client to understand and participate in their legal affairs.

I am willing to review documents.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
Generally, we do not do this.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I was a paralegal prior to attending law school. I graduated cum laude in law school. I am meticulous in everything I do and care deeply for my clients.

I like helping people.
Tell us about your law firm:
I am a solo practitioner. My husband, who has 20 years experience in the mortgage banking industry and is currently attending law school, is my paralegal/office manager.
