This is followed up by an engagement letter requesting a retainer at that time. The first appointment takes approximately one hour. Elder Law cases are usually based on an hourly rate which varies.

I like assisting individuals as opposed to corporations; it is personally rewarding.
A little knowledge is dangerous - which makes it essential that you work with qualified and personable professionals that you feel will take care of your family when it is necessary.
I am willing to do so on an hourly basis, but it is often more efficient and cost-effective to work with an attorney throughout the entire process.
It depends on the client's situation.
Being involved in Charitable Boards and Community Activities provides me with experience, perspective, and gratification.
Quality, empathy and commitment.
Personal interests:Family, golf, karate, and good food and wine.
