The more the client knows about his predicament and the law, the better.

No, I do not advise self-representation.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I wanted to be able to help people with a system that most find intimidating.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I worked my way through law school in the restaurant business as a waiter, bartender, and manager. That public service and contact exposed me to a vast array of people and experiences. This is really just a public service and people oriented business too.

It's what I know best.

As there is no one but me in the office, if I am in court the office is closed and the phone is answered by voice mail. Office appointments can be made to meet the client's needs.
