Firm Overview

The focus of my firm is to offer high quality divorce and family law representation for a reasonable and affordable price.

I established my firm in July of 2000 after working for various other small law firms. I set out to give high quality family law and divorce representation for a reasonable fee.

Example cases

My case load is too diverse to include any one result. Family law is a very difficult highly emotional area of practice and it is hard to choose one case as an example. In every case I attempt to get the best result for my client at a reasonable price.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I am a litigator through and through. Divorce and family law is an area of practice where my skills as a litigator are utilized daily.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I find it helpful for clients to take an interest in their case. However, I have found that clients who attempt self representation are usually disappointed in their results.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I would rather draft documents than review documents prepared by clients.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I do not coach clients.

Donn Prokopius

I passed the bar in 1997 and immediately got a job as an associate for a small family law practitioner in Las Vegas. My training was definitely baptism by fire. I was thrust into many court situations with little training. I learned to think on my feet quickly and gained my skill as a litigator this way.

I understand what it is like to work for a living. I have done manual labor and also worked in the fast food industry as a teenager. I understand the value of a dollar and center my lawyering on not breaking my clients financially.

I am compassionate with my clients, yet I am an aggressive litigator who fights hard for the client.

Personal interests:

I have three boys who are thirteen, six, and three; so much of my free time is spent at their activities. I enjoy camping, fishing, golfing, and bowling.

Jeremy Beasley

I have called Las Vegas home since 1997.

I graduated with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude from the University of Phoenix, Las Vegas, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. I received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law where I completed my requirements a semester early. While in law school, I also clerked for the Mississippi Department of Transportation and spent my summer clerking with the Honorable Nancy Oesterle in Las Vegas Justice Court. Upon returning to Clark County, Nevada I completed another clerkship with the Honorable Nancy Oesterle in Las Vegas Justice Court.

Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2000, from the United States Air Force while being stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, I entered the Clark County legal industry. During my years of legal experience, I have been involved with all aspects of litigation.

As a true litigator at heart, I accepted my first attorney position knowing he was faced with a complex and long fought family court trial within 10 days. Utilizing my experience and negotiation strategies, I was able to reach a settlement between the parties on the morning of trial.

I consider myself a result of the legal system. As one of three children I was first introduced into the legal profession at an early age due to becoming a child of divorcing parents. As a child of divorce, I developed a comfort level in the courtroom and discussing how a bitter divorce battle affects the children. As a child I met and conversed with attorneys and judges regarding the impacts legal decisions have on children. It is my life experiences that have allowed me to relate with my clients and provide them with comfortable, personal representation, whether it is in a divorce action, personal injury, or criminal defense.
