Established in May 2008 as a solo practice. Now have two attorneys, a paralegal, and support staff.
At the Bez Law Firm in Sacramento, our clients have come to expect personalized attention, honest advice and fully committed courtroom representation. We are a small law firm, and that is by design. We form personal relationships with our clients and take their legal issues personally.
Civil litigation is a significant part of what we do. We litigate family law and business law cases. These are legal areas that affect people both financially and emotionally. Our goal is to protect our clients' interests at every step of the legal process; whether they are going through a divorce or seeking a resolution of a business issue.
When your financial and emotional well-being is at stake in the outcome of your case, your choice of a law firm to represent you is an important decision. At the Bez Law Firm, we always offer a free initial consultation so that you can have an opportunity to meet us and we will have an opportunity to meet you.
I have worked with victims of domestic violence to procure lifetime restraining orders against their perpetrators and have handled many difficult custody cases involving crimes against children. I have experience in both high conflict and amicable dissolutions and realized there is a close tie in many high wage dissolutions to businesses litigation. To that end, I have been increasing the business litigation side of the firm in recent months to include all areas of business litigation such as: business counseling, entity formation, family businesses, small business dispute resolution, and contract disputes.

I enjoy it.
I think clients should always be informed through research and it's my job to help them find answers
I typically do not review documents prepared by clients but may be willing to do so for my normal hourly rate on a limited basis.
I think that all clients need to understand the legal issues/procedures involved in their case and am willing to work with clients so that at some point they will be able to handle routine legal procedures on their own potentially without need of an attorney. A prime candidate for such help would be litigants in non-contentious custody disputes.
In family law since 2004. I had a previous career as a 911 dispatcher for Santa Cruz County.
I was a 911 operator for eight years. I can handle any situation with calm and ease that others cannot.
Sometimes we tell our clients things they do not want to hear. If our lawyers think that a particular position does not have a good chance of success in court, or is not worth the cost of litigation, we will tell you at the onset of your case. Being candid doesn't always serve our interest as attorneys. However, it does serve the interest of our clients.Personal interests:
Horseback riding, friends and family, and any outdoor activities.
