My firm was established in January 2008, before that I worked for 5 years at a prominent, mid-sized law firm in New York City.
The focus of my firm is to help my clients with their legal needs with professionalism and compassion. I strongly believe in providing excellent legal representation at affordable rates. Clients consistently praise the work that I perform for them and tell me that if they ever need legal help again, that they will call on me. This is the highest and best reference any attorney can receive.
I represented a father in a contested divorce. I negotiated a very favorable divorce agreement whereby he obtained joint legal custody of his daughter, a very liberal custodial visitation schedule, and a reduction in his child support payments from the CSSA guidelines. I also placed arbitration and mediation clauses in the divorce agreement to protect the father's interest in case there are any future issues.
I represented a mother in a legal separation which eventually became a contested divorce. This client was extremely pleased with the results and with my service. For example, she has often told me that I am the only lawyer she knows that returns all phone calls and emails within the same day or in one business day. Since her divorce, she has referred several clients to my office.
I worked with a mother and father in an uncontested divorce. Initially the father was reluctant to cooperate with this process, yet with some explanation of the advantages of Collaborative Divorce, both parties came to an amicable settlement with their child custody, child support, distribution of assets and other issues of divorce.

I always offer a free telephone consultation. In most instances, I also offer a free half-hour office consultation.
For an uncontested divorce, with no kids and no assets, I typically charge $400 (court fees extra). For an uncontested divorce, with kids or assets, I typically charge $800 (court fees extra). Divorce mediation is at $200.00 per hour.
I typically charge $750 for representing buyers and sellers of single-family residential homes.
$275 per hour, which is typically 20% to 40% less than most other attorneys. My rates are lower due to my low overhead.
My general office hours are from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. However, I can arrange to meet clients in the evening, on weekends or even at their homes.
Prior to becoming an attorney, I went through a difficult divorce. I understand what my clients are going through.
I strongly believe that clients should educate themselves as much as possible on legal issues. However, clients should be very careful to make sure that they use an attorney when needed and necessary. As an analogy, I can do some home improvement projects, but I do not consider myself an expert. If I have a plumbing problem that I know is too big for me to fix, I make sure I call a very good plumber. Clients should follow this same philosophy when it comes to the law and their legal issues.
I am open to reviewing documents prepared by my clients.
I am open to considering this type of arrangement with my clients.
I was a litigation associate at a prominent, mid-sized law firm located in New York City. This experience allows me to give you New York City experience but with an hourly rate that is 20% to 40% less than the typical attorney.
Working as an attorney is my second career. In my first career, as a businessman/computer consultant, I interacted with several attorneys. Through that experience, I bring a different perspective to the law and to the practice of law. I know my clients want the legal process to be discussed in everyday language and not in "legalese." I also know that each client and each case is different and they should be treated as such.
I have the experience of living through a divorce and living with a divorce settlement agreement. I understand first-hand the hidden traps of a divorce settlement agreement. I bring a detailed level of attention and preparation to each divorce. In addition, I am very accessible and clients often comment that I do not sound like an attorney.
I always aggressively protect my client's interests and rights.
