How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
I chose divorce, family law, bankruptcy, business and immigration as my primary areas of practice because of my educational background and interest in finance related matters. I quickly learned that the issues involved in these practise areas are often related and frequently more than one are issue in many cases. I feel that my skills from one area transfer easily to the other.
What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I feel this is important. It is always good to work with a client who is interested in his or her case and is well-informed.
Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?
We are willing to review documents prepared by clients but usually as a part of a larger case. We do not help clients practice law for themselves.
Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
We do take uncontested divorce cases where client's just need paperwork reviewed and / or drafted. Also, there are instances in all of our areas of practice where we can be of help even when the client prefers to represent themselves.

Tamara Feliciano
Tamara Feliciano is from Cleveland, Ohio and attended college at Cleveland State University.
While enrolled in college Tamara earned a Clerk position with the United States Attorneyâs Office for the Northern District of Ohio. While employed with the Department of Justice, Tamara gained invaluable legal experience from a staff in excess of one hundred United States Attorneys.
In 2007 Tamara graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelorâs Degree in Arts and Science.
Shortly thereafter, Tamara relocated to Lawrenceville, Georgia to open and manage a flower shop with her parents and brother. Tamara and her family opened Flowerama of Lawrenceville in 2008. Flowerama is a full service floral shop with award winning customer service and Tamara takes great pride in managing the store alongside her family.
After opening Flowerama, Tamara attended Atlantaâs John Marshall Law School. While enrolled in law school, Tamara excelled in Trial Advocacy and Writing and received a CALI Award for her Excellent Achievement in the Study of Professional Responsibility.

Susan Martin
Mrs. Susan Martin was born in 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. She is the youngest of three daughters and because she was born to German immigrants, she takes pride in being a âfirst generationâ U.S. citizen.
In 1980 Mrs. Martin graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. From Ohio State, Ms. Martin was recruited and began her career as an Environmental Engineer with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) in San Francisco, California. While working at PG&E, she enrolled in the University of California at Berkeleyâs Masters in Business Administration (MBA) executive program and she obtained her California professional Engineerâs license (PE). In 1983, upon receiving her MBA, Mrs. Martin relocated to Houston Texas.
In Houston Mrs. Martin worked as a Store Supervisor of company owned Exxon U.S.A. Car Care Centers. She had bottom line responsibility for a territory that grossed 13 million dollars a year in revenues. Also while in Houston, Mrs. Martin became the proud wife of Mr. Greg Martin and the even prouder mother of Zachary and Travis Martin.
Mr. Martinâs employer, Harris Corporation, relocated the family to Atlanta, Georgia in 1988. The family took up residency in Alpharetta in 1988 and has lived in Alpharetta ever since. Zachary, at 22, is a second year student in Mercer Universityâs Southern School of Pharmacy. Travis, at 20, is a sophomore at Gainesville State College in Athens.
After being employed as an Environmental Engineer with the U.S. EPA Region 4 in downtown Atlanta for 7 years and becoming a Georgia PE, Mrs. Martin enrolled in Georgia State Universityâs College of Law in 1999 where she became a registered neutral (mediator) in 2001 and a cum laude Juris Doctorate graduate in 2002. Since then, she has become a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and she was admitted to the Georgia Bar in October 2003.
Currently Mrs. Martin is Of-Counsel to Coleman Legal Group, LLC where she handles Federal Court appearances in Bankruptcy cases, U.S. Trustee depositions, and general civil litigation. Prior to her engagement with Coleman Legal Group, LLC, Mrs. Martin represented the Georgia Department of Transportation in real estate acquisition and eminent domain matters. When Mrs. Martin is not advocating for a client as a lawyer, she enjoys mediating a case. During her six years as a registered neutral, she has developed specialties in landlord/tenant, eminent domain, and real estate matters. She has a unique ability to reduce complex technical and/or emotional matters into resolvable solutions where parties realize the virtues of settling their case.
