I chose criminal law because of the large impact that it has on the future of those who are dealing with it. I know that I will never be able to make the history of my clients disappear but with time, elbow grease, and meticulous care, I can work to help them move forward into a brighter future.
I encourage my clients to get a base knowledge of the laws that they will be facing so that they have an understanding of what they will be dealing with. It is not recommended that they try to become experts - it takes lawyers years and years of schooling to reach that level. I, however, do encourage them to pursue an understanding of the situation that they are facing.
Each case is different and each one will have a different answer. If the document, however, is relevant to my case, I will gladly review it so that I have the most information at my disposal to help build my case.
I cannot give a blanket answer to this question. In an initial case consultation, my client and I can discuss all possible options.
I was previously employed as a military lawyer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. During this time, I was proud to serve and defend our nation's soldiers in courts-martials.
My previous experience as a military lawyer has afforded me a tenacious approach to my cases. I know how to handle difficult situations and I am fully prepared to take on even the most daunting of cases. I am not frightened off by complex cases and will instead fight tooth and nail to defend my clients.
I am hard-hitting and fearless. Clients who choose to work with me can trust that in even the most difficult of situations that the high stakes will not scare me off. I will instead dig in my heels and help them to fight for their just outcome.
Personal interests:I love to practice law. I consider myself extremely lucky that I am able to have a career that I find so deeply rewarding and fulfilling.
