We are committed to resolving your complete problem to ensure that you not only have success in the present but avoid further legal complications in the future.

We are highly experienced at navigating the bureaucracies of the big insurance companies. We are among the best negotiators in Boston and will work hard to obtain full compensation for your loss.

Our firm has been quite successful in representing clients in criminal matters often leading to limited or no jail time. We are zealous advocates for our client's rights.

Previous Employment Summary

I have been involved with numerous business ventures which have helped me hone my negotiation skills. These ventures include real estate sales and development, construction endeavors, importing and antique collecting and sales. I have a particular love of going to antique shows seeking out hidden treasures.

Activities and Awards

On special occasions we have done Pro Bono cases. I have been a Moot Court judge for Moot Court mock trials. I have been a guest speaker for a radio talk show discussing my areas of law. I have mentored numerous law students in practical law practice.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Everyone should do their best to understand the law and how it affects them, especially when they are faced with a legal problem. A client who understands basic legal issues will always be better equipped to know his or her rights, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of his or her case, and to determine what his or her goals are for a resolution to the problem. We encourage clients to become informed and work closely with the client to give all of the information needed to make the right decisions.

An experienced lawyer who is very familiar with a particular area of law in question is invaluable to help navigate through the maze of obstacles and foresee potential problems before they arise.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We are more than willing to review client generated information, however, most lawyers will tell you that the language in legal documents is vital to the validity and success of the document. Therefore, we prefer to draft our own documents. Furthermore, when starting with documents drafted by the client, it is often more time consuming to finalize the documents.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

In non-court matters, our willingness to assist such clients depends entirely on the circumstances of the case. In certain simple, low-risk matters, a layperson can be expected to adequately represent themselves with limited guidance and advice. However generally, lawyers are not allowed to "ghost write" documents for their clients.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I have always enjoyed helping people in problematic situations. I believe that my greatest skill lies in dealing with people, both friendly and adversarial. The practice of law is the perfect venue for me to combine these two aspects of my character. Through legal representation, I am able to apply my finely-honed negotiation skills to obtain the best results for my clients.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I have vast work experience in both sales and brokerage. This background has provided extensive negotiation skills in numerous fields. Our firm has successfully settled thousands of cases totaling in the millions of dollars in favor of our clients and we have facilitated numerous advantageous outcomes in criminal cases.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Personal injury runs the gamut from a minor slip and fall to life threatening accidents. We believe that people are at their most vulnerable after an accident. I enjoy fighting the battles against the parties responsible for our client's damages and injuries. I want to be in a position to help the vulnerable who deserve compensation. Likewise, our firm fully understands potentially life altering ramifications associated when an individual faces criminal charges.

What do you like best about your career?

I am a true "people" person. I love meeting new people and solving a myriad of legal problems. I have many former clients who have stayed in contact years later. I love the challenge of handling new legal issues and gaining the experience and know-how to efficiently and effectively resolve legal issues, but it is the individual person that I remember most of all.

Tell us about your law firm:

Our attorneys have 60 years of combined experience providing prompt, aggressive, caring and dedicated legal services. We believe that you should call us when results matter the most because our experienced team will make a difference.

The attorneys and staff work directly with our clients and give personalized service. We have very capable law clerks who communicate effectively with clients. We also have two of-counsel attorneys who handle cases outside of our areas of concentration. Further, we have strong relationships with affiliate lawyers in many other states.

What are your strengths and style?

I take great pride in my ability to negotiate the best results for my clients.

My style is simply an ethic of working smart and hard. This coupled with my experience and know-how result in an efficient and quality work product on behalf of our clients.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, collecting antiques/watches as well as being involved with real estate construction and interior design. I have a particular love of trying to help with children's charities. I attend children's charity fundraisers and hope to devote more time to participating in such charities.

Nolo's Licensing Check
