What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

In my experience, all clients are different and need to work through their injuries and the resulting consequences in their own way. If my clients want to educate themselves on the legal issues ahead of them, I will both support and help them with that effort. On the other hand, if a client choses to rely solely on me for that aspect of their situation, I fully support that approach as well.

I have worked for large and small law firms. Prior to shifting my practice to representing individuals, I worked for the insurance companies defending personal injury claims for 20 years. I grew up with a debilitating physical handicap. I have had to learn walk three times and have personally had to live through and deal with the mental, physical, psychological and social challenges you face. My education and early career in the pharmaceutical industry provide me with medical training needed to understand the medical issues in your case. Finally, my years of experience working with the insurance industry have given me the experience and insight needed to get excellent results for you.
