Firm Focus and History
I have been practicing personal injury law for over 20 years. A few years ago, I left my position at a large firm to open my own firm and help injured or wronged individuals who find themselves in need of no nonsense experienced personalized legal care and fierce representation against those who injured them or their family members.
I focus on providing representation and legal care to persons who have been injured or harmed by in accidents or the actions of another person or a company. My focus is on providing you the legal support and protection you need as you recover from your injuries or loss. This includes dealing with all legal aspects of your injury or loss, not just the claims against the person or entity who injured you.
Previous Employment Summary
I have worked for large and small law firms. Prior to shifting my practice to representing individuals, I worked for the insurance companies defending personal injury claims for 20 years. During that time, I learned exactly what is needed and what it takes for an individual to be successful in personal injury claims against these entities and their insured.
What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
In my experience, all clients are different and need to work through their injuries and the resulting consequences in their own way. If my clients want to educate themselves on the legal issues ahead of them, I will both support and help them with that effort. On the other hand, if a client choses to rely solely on me for that aspect of their situation, I fully support that approach as well.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
I am 100% willing to review documents prepared by the clients.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
I am willing to assist you and have already assisted many clients in resolving matters before full legal representation is needed. I encourage you to contact me as early as possible for this assistance to avoid any costly mistakes in the handling of your matter.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I became a lawyer for two reasons. The first reason, which I share with most (but not all) lawyers, is my desire to help others. The second reason relates to my personality. I like challenge, competition and mental stimulation which the practice of law provides on a daily basis.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I grew up with a debilitating physical handicap. I have had to learn walk three times and have personally had to live through and deal with the mental, physical, psychological and social challenges you face. My education and early career in the pharmaceutical industry provide me with medical training needed to understand the medical issues in your case. Finally, my years of experience working with the insurance industry have given me the experience and insight needed to get excellent results for you.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
Simple - I like working with and helping people who need the care and assistance I can provide.
What do you like best about your career?
Smiling faces and thank-you's.
Tell us about your law firm:
I am a solo practitioner and I like to have direct contact with you as often as possible. I have capable and attentive paralegals who assist me. Our goal is for you to develop the relationship with the person that works best for you.
What are your strengths and style?
My strengths are my personal, educational, professional and legal experience. My style is very straightforward. I know what it takes to get you the compensation you deserve for your injuries and losses. I will work for you until I achieve that compensation.
