I established the firm in 2000. After graduating Baylor Law School, I returned to my hometown of Athens to set up my practice. We are a small firm focusing on Real Property and Probate matters mostly. We do, however, handle all types of civil litigation. I also own a title company so that clients can have a seamless real estate closing.

Frankly, I took some real property cases as a young attorney and enjoyed them more than the other cases I was working.
I think the public should become much better informed about our legal system and the laws that govern our society. Part of the public's frustration with lawyers is that the legal system is seen as secret and hidden. The better people understand the law and the legal system, the more empowered they become.
I have no problem reviewing client drafted documents.
I would be willing to help coach clients as long as the boundaries were clearly set.
I have always been a solo practitioner and have never worked for anyone else as a professional.
I think practicing in my home town makes me a better lawyer. I know the community.
We communicate as much as possible with our clients and pursue each case on the most detailed level possible.
Personal interests:My free time is generally spent with my family.
