Perrotta, Cahn & Prieto, P.C. was founded in 1984 with a single philosophy: we devote individualized attention to each client's legal challenge. We then develop a creative strategy to reach a successful solution tailored to each client's individual needs. Since that time, our firm has continued to grow and to develop into ever expanding areas of practice. But we have never forgotten our commitment to our basic philosophy: individualized attention to each client's personal needs.
Our firm represents a wide range of clients including large corporations, small and medium-size businesses, governmental entities, and of course, individuals. But no client's legal matter is too large or too small — we devote our individual attention to each and every client.
Resourceful and aggressive, our attorneys and staff are highly motivated and qualified to provide our clients with the expertise and individual attention they deserve. Many firm attorneys hold prominent positions in local, state and national organizations and are called upon to share their expertise with their peers through writings and lectures.
With five offices, from Dalton to the Buckhead section of Atlanta, our firm proudly serves North Georgia. With attorneys licensed in seven states and every federal district in Georgia, our firm also serves clients beyond North Georgia in a variety of practice areas.
On countless occasions, I have stopped foreclosures, recovered repossessed vehicles, stopped lawsuits, resolved tax problems, and even successfully caused 2nd mortgages to be completely eliminated. I have sued aggressive creditors for violating my clients' rights, and recovered punitive damages for my clients.
The consultation is always free.

I was one of the first attorneys to exclusively practice bankruptcy in my geographic location: Bartow, Paulding, Gordon and Whitfield Counties.
I always encourage clients to educate themselves, through their free consultation, and through independent research. However, I would never encourage anyone to attempt to file a bankruptcy without the assistance of an experienced, qualified attorney.
I regularly review client documents as part of my consultation and case preparation. As a bankruptcy attorney, documents are critical.
Ethically, I cannot represent a client without formally appearing as his or her attorney in the underlying matter.
In law school, I took courses with an emphasis on bankruptcy-related issues. I excelled in the area of consumer bankruptcy, business bankruptcy, and the Uniform Commercial Code. I have worked at my current firm since I graduated from law school in 1994. In the past 17 years, I have dedicated my practice to assisting thousands of clients to obtain the fresh start they need, with the compassion and respect they deserve.
A lawyer's worth is often measured in experience. I am an extremely-experienced bankruptcy attorney. The things I've learned, and the relationships I've built, over so many years of practice, are valuable assets.
I am a compassionate advocate for my clients in the office, willing to go to battle in the courtroom.Personal interests:
My wife, Angie, and my cat, Panda. I love coming home to them. I also love fly-fishing for trout, and an occasional round of golf on a sunny day.
