Firm Focus
My goal is to provide services in the areas of Wills, Trusts, and Probate that are as efficient and affordable as possible.
Firm History
After practicing law in California for 10 years, I had the good sense to move to Idaho in 1987. I worked with a local firm for 4 ½ years and then opened my own firm in Boise in 1992. I moved my office to Eagle in 1998 after building a house in the area a year earlier.
Activities and Awards
Extensive pro-bono work for Idaho pro-family organizations.
Example Cases
As I have the good sense to avoid litigation like the plague, I have no example cases to offer.
What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
As is evident from the extensive set of answers to commonly-asked questions that are available on my web site, it is my desire that all of my clients be well-informed on all relevant issues.
Are your attorneys willing to review documents prepared by clients?
No, too risky for both you and me.
Are your attorneys willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
No.
Are your attorneys willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?
Yes.
What are your policies about dividing work among the firm's partners, associates, and paralegals to make the process most cost-effective for the client?
Since I do not have support staff, it's up to me to make my services cost effective, a task at which I excel if I do say so myself.
How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?
Never; one of the advantages of never engaging in litigation.
Does your firm provide pro bono legal services or otherwise participate in your community?
Yes. I provide pro bono services to several pro-family, pro-choice-in-education, and pro-life groups on a regular basis.
What distinguishes your law firm from others?
I guaranty my clients total satisfaction. In writing. If you're not totally satisfied, no legal fees will be charged.

Yes. Almost all of my services are available on a fixed-fee basis. They range from Simple Wills for as little at $245 to a complete Living Trust Package for just $1,495. In the area of probate, I can often complete the probate process for just $1,917 which includes legal fees, court fees, and the cost to publish the Notice to Creditors.

Free Initial Consultation?
Yes. In the areas of Wills, Trusts, and Probate, I offer a Free Initial Consultation of up to 45 minutes to discuss what services are needed and how much they will cost if you decided to use my services. No fees are charged unless you actually use my services after that initial meeting.
Typical Retainer
No. Fees are set at the end of the initial free consultation and are normally payable upon my completion of the desired services.
Nolo's Licensing Check
Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the state agency that licenses lawyers upon joining the directory.
Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any state licensing agency.
