I attend over 20 hours of continuing education every year covering updates in cases ranging from DUI to Murder.
Papers and Publications
I have been a contributing writer to the Placer County Bar Association newsletter and served as Bar President in 2000. I have argued before the California Court of Appeal and California Supreme Court. I have been attorney of record in two published appellate decisions, People v. Sargent and People v. Brackett.
Example Cases
In People v. Albert Heredia, we successfully obtained a dismissal of all charges in a gang related drive by shooting case with life imprisonment exposure.
In People v. Elledge we won a motion to dismiss all charges in a case involving felony threats on a police officer. We have a proven record of not guilty verdicts in cases ranging from DUI to Serious Felonies. We have never lost a civil personal injury case at trial. Our recent successes include a $700,000 settlement against Round Table Pizza for a wrongful death caused by a delivery car.
A $300,000 settlement for a construction worker injured at a job site; and a $600,000 settlement for a school bus driver rear ended on the highway.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
I encourage clients to prepare factual summaries of their cases for my review. I often direct clients to judicial council forms for handling their own matters.
