Firm Focus and History

My firm was established when I saw the need for tenacious and vigorous criminal defense in the Phoenix and surrounding areas. With over 15 years of experience, I lead my firm to always adhere to high-quality and thorough legal advice.

Our firm is focused on helping clients who have recently been charged with a crime throughout the Arizona area. We understand the stress and emotional struggle that is associated with crimes of this nature and are therefore completely devoted to ensuring that our clients receive the dynamic advice that they deserve.

Previous Employment Summary

I previously was employed as a police officer as well as a legislative aid to the Arizona State House of Representatives.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I believe that clients should stay informed and involved. I will encourage all attempts to educate as they move forward in the legal issues they are facing.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I will review all documents that I believe will help me in my efforts to help my clients.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

In an initial case consultation, I will discuss the case with my client so that we can decide together the best way for me to help them.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because I wanted to continually challenge myself in new ways. I had spent an extended period of time working as a police officer, and wanted to work on the other side of the law protecting those who have been wrongfully accused.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My experience as a police officer has given me a thorough understanding of the law, allowing me to fully understand the proper police procedures. I can therefore fully protect my clients with knowledgeable and experienced advice.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I chose my primary area of practice, because I have seen firsthand the ramifications of a wrongfully mishandled criminal case and the consequences of a wrongful accusation.

What do you like best about your career?

I love the ability to help my clients in a tangible manner. If the criminal case is mishandled, they will be left saddled with the ramifications for the rest of their life. I love having the chance to help protect their rights and fight for their future.

Tell us about your law firm:

I work with several different attorneys that I trust to offer my clients the necessary legal assistance that my clients deserve.

What are your strengths and style?

I am hard-hitting and creative in my efforts to protect my clients. You can trust that I will be innovative as I work to come up with the best solution for you, no matter how daunting the situation may appear.

Personal Interests:

I am personally interested in hockey and often times spend my free time refereeing.

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the state agency that licenses lawyers upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any state licensing agency.
