Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
Being a lawyer allows me to use my analytical skills and acquire knowledge to solve people's problems. I am a helpful person by nature and enjoy assisting people in this regard.

Being a working mother helps me to understand family responsibilities and priorities. I connect with the struggles faced by many of my clients in balancing their lives.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I chose to practice primarily in the area of family law because it allows me to connect with people and help them through a difficult time in their life. I take pride in assisting people to reach satisfactory solutions in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
What do you like best about your career?
My career allows me to help people make transitions during a difficult phase of their life. I take pride in helping people formulate a solution to continue to work together as parents for the benefit of their children. It is also very satisfying to see a new family brought together through adoption.

Our firm is small enough that my clients receive frequent, direct attention from me. Our talented support staff is equally attentive to our client’s needs and provides a lot of behind the scenes assistance.
What are your strengths and style?
I am devoted to my clients and provide passionate advocacy. I have a strong knowledge of family law formulated from my experience in the area. My style involves active listening, formulating a case strategy and then acting after thoughtful consideration.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy camping, spending time with my family, and playing cards. I also enjoy cooking and love to try out new recipes.

Free Initial Consultation?
Initial consultations for family law matters are $50 for the first hour and $165 for each additional hour.
Typical Retainer
Our required retainers vary based on the nature, the complexity of the case, and the credit worthiness of the client. For divorce, a typical retainer ranges from $1,000 to $5,000, however some situations warrant retainers above or below these ranges.
Nolo's Licensing Check
Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the state agency that licenses lawyers upon joining the directory.
