Our family-run firm has deep roots in the Las Vegas area, and we pride ourselves in providing the community with the proven, aggressive, and dependable representation needed to protect their rights and interests and effectively challenge the charges they face.
What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
We don't believe clients should ever be left in the dark and therefore encourage any and all attempts clients make at educating themselves. We understand, however, that the law is complex, which is why our attorneys are always available to answer our clients' questions, address their concerns, and keep them informed of the different aspects of their cases.
Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?
If we feel the document will be beneficial to helping our attorneys get clients the results they desire, we are more than willing to review it. Our firm leaves no stone untured in preparing the most comprehensive defense possible for our clients' cases.

Attorney Jocelyn A. Cortez is a valuable member of De Castroverde Law Group and a assionate advocate for clients facing various types of immigration issues. As a young girl she experienced the heartbreak and confusion that immigration law can wreak on a family, and has since dedicated her life to the well-being of others. With a degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Juris Doctorate earned from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, Attorney Cortez has the detailed legal knowledge needed to effectively represent her clients' cases and protect their rights and interests. She is fluent in Spanish, which enables her to better serve her clients and help them understand their options under the law. She is admitted to practice law by the state of Nevada and is also licensed to practicein the U.S. District Court, District of Nevada and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
