Established in Oregon, April 2000. Previously licensed in Oregon, Washington, and Washington, D.C. Court of Appeals. Previous focus was primarily in criminal law. Moved to Nebraska in 2005 and began to focus in family law, and other areas of civil law. I will be adding bankruptcy, guardianship, and adoptions soon.

I have had 25% of my criminal cases dismissed because of Motions to Suppress and have won more than half of my trials. I have also won three of three appeals in criminal law matters.

Services Offered For Fixed Fees?

My hourly rate is $ 200. I usually receive retainers of a minimum of 3 hours of my time plus court costs plus Sheriff's service fees and other costs. I can work out ongoing payment arrangements when needed. The fees I charge depend upon whether I am going to trial, or if it is a "cooperative divorce or custody" arrangement.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I believe that clients should self-educate themselves in the area of helping children deal with divorce and separation as much as possible, as well as in areas of parental rejection. The more a client self-educates, the more helpful he or she will be to the attorney who is representing him or her and the more helpful to their own children.
