to support the content team in finding legal writers.
The Recruiting Coordinator will support the content team by posting ads
externally, screening applicants, and maintaining productivity number.
This person will interact with all levels within the organization in
order to execute the recruitment process. The Recruiting Coordinator
will provide data to management on current writers, applicants, and
overall information on recruitment status.
Responsibilities:
- Mine for resumes using resume databases and other tools.
- Review and filter incoming resumes.
- Research new sources for candidates.

Nolo is currently looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager to join
our team in Pleasanton, CA.
Responsibilities:
-Create and maintain detailed annual budget and monthly forecast models.
-Provide key financial reports to corporate finance at headquarters.
-Create ad hoc reports for GM of Nolo to help manage critical aspects
of Nolo.
-Responsible for inventory management including:
-Oversee inventory purchasing.
-Lead company movement to print on
demand including selecting the vendor.
-Manage box software vendors and track both revenues and expenses.
-Manage all operational and financial aspects of Nolo retail store in
Berkeley.
-Spearhead special projects: perform analyses to drive
revenue opportunities, cost rationalization analyses; streamline
operations.
-Coordinate with headquarters regarding monthly accounting close
activities; review critical aspects of close including inventory,
return and rebate reserves, royalties, capitalized software, etc.
The successful candidate will serve as a key finance liaison between
the GM of Nolo and Internet Brands corporate finance and
accounting. The candidate will also be a participant in
strategic and operations planning processes for the business and will
handle special requests and projects for the GM of Nolo.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or
Business. MBA and/or CPA a plus.
-2 or more years experience budgeting, forecasting, finance, private or
public accounting, or business analysis.
-Highest degree of proficiency in financial modeling and analysis;
skills should include not only Excel expertise, but also abilities to
design, communicate, and adjust models to fit business needs and
changes.
-Working knowledge of accounting principles.
-Ability to work across various functional areas and to interact with
individuals across all levels throughout organization.
-Excellent communications skills.
-Highly detail oriented with a strong sense of ownership over work
product.
-Experience working within internet and/or publishing ideal.
