Child Status Protection Act (Cspa): An amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act passed in 2002 (Public Law 107-208). The CSPA helps children applying for green cards or visas, either in family-based immigration categories or as derivatives on a parent's asylum application, to maintain their eligibility even after they reach age 21. That's the age at which, in immigration law terms, people are normally too old to be considered "children."
