How does the program work?

If approved as a Nolo affiliate, you can place banners on your site that will direct shoppers to Nolo.com. You can earn up to 15 percent on commissions by selling Nolo products. The more you sell, the higher the commission.

How do I sign up?

Is my site eligible to become a Nolo affiliate?

We review every site on a case-by-case basis. Once you're approved, we'll periodically review your site to make sure that it remains an appropriate affiliate for our program.

Nolo will be working with a limited number of high quality sites. We reserve the right to refuse any site containing objectionable material, including explicit language or content, or support for violent or discriminatory groups.

Can I use the Nolo name and logo on my site?

You can only use approved marketing materials produced by Nolo. You are not allowed to alter our logos or approved materials in any way. You'll find the approved materials in the MyAffPro interface. These assets will be updated regularly to reflect new promotions and other news.

Can I include specific information about your products on my site?

No, please include only the approved links we make available to you through MyAffPro.

How long does it take to get approved?

After completing our simple application form, you'll hear about your approval status in 24-48 hours.

Where do I get banners?

After you're approved, we'll send you links to the location on the MyAffPro website where you can obtain banners.

How much can I make?

Affiliates can earn up to 15 percent from each Nolo sale that occurs because of a click-through from your site. How much you earn depends on how many of your visitors click on the Nolo banners and how much those visitors spend at our store.

If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction. However, if a product is returned in exchange for new merchandise, or if goods are lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to the customer, your commissions will not be affected.

How do I know how much I've earned?

Once approved, you'll be assigned your own password-protected Personal Account page on the MyAffPro website. You'll have access to a full menu of detailed web-based reports to keep track of your site's earnings and performance, available to you 24/7.

When do I get paid?

If your earnings for a given month total more than $25, you'll receive a check about 30 days after the end of that month. If your earnings total less than $25, then you will receive a check after the end of the following month in which your total earnings reach $25.

What does it cost to join?

Nothing! It's free to become a Nolo affiliate and you can cancel at any time.

Can I take orders on my site and send the information to Nolo?

No, MyAffPro will only process orders directly through the Internet.

How are orders tracked and credited to my site?

All links from your site to Nolo contain your unique affiliate ID. Every time a customer visits the Nolo site via your site and makes a purchase, we will credit your site. To make sure that all purchases are tracked correctly, all links on your site must be created using the links provided at MyAffPro.com. Also, you will receive commissions for any sale that occurs through an approved link for 30 days after the initial click. These are often referred to as “Return Days.”

Do I have sales quotas?

No, we don't require our affiliates to meet sales quotas.

What are Nolo's responsibilities?

Nolo will provide you with the marketing materials, tools and support that you need to establish yourself as a Nolo affiliate. We also handle orders, shipping, billing, customer service and sales reporting -- as well as paying your commissions.
